I love fantasy themed stories and Hana to Akuma has been able to give me more than that.

It is not a manga that is too complicated and is too in length in the speeches the characters are given. It is easy to understand and braids together great storyline, good humor and fantasy.

Even the ending (no spoilers, don't worry) is a good one. I must admit though that I had to read it twice to feel this way.

If demons existed, I'd like to be a part of that mansion. XD

Cinderella Monogatari is not a very recent anime. It does not have the special effects that we are now blessed with having.

However, it is blessed with great storytelling and has a nice moral.
Both movie (Disney) and story (by Charles Perrault) do not go in great detail about Cinderella's life before she went to the ball. This series tell a great deal, and, not only that, the twists make the story a bit more realistic, in my point of view.

Fairy tails are always, or almost, the same and have many common components such as: love at first sight (without even knowing each other), ... a villain or two defeat and a happy ending.
In my opinion, Cinderella Monogatari changes all of these examples and weaves a story that is so great that you should overlook the fact that perhaps you do not like the ancient aspect of it.

When I read shoujo mangas, I always expect to have a great laugh at how predictable this is, how 'stupid' the main girl is, or how cliché it all becomes in the end, at one point or another. It's just funny to see how the mangakas can find other ways to portray this or that.

When I started reading Dengeki Daisy, it was exactly what I thought I'd find.

Dengeki Daisy has a deep-ish storyline, with a great sense of humor. It is well told and has loveable and realistic characters through a plot full of suspense and "computer programmers".

Sure, there is drama (that's ... what's to expect in mangas in general anyways, no?!), there are stuff that may be too predictable, but the affections that you have for this character or that one is so strong that it keeps you want to read more if it's not for the sense of humor, or to see how this problem will be solved.

Anyways, I recommend this manga to both guys and girls. It's brilliantly told.
