Okay, to keep it short, Shouha Shouten is a refreshing treat amidst all the heavy manga out there. Sometimes all you gotta read is something light, just like this series.
Two of the main characters are interesting and complete each other. The jokes is quite funny and the performance that they set on stage is pretty interesting. The art is awesome as expected from Takeshi Obata. Love the detail of the art and some Bakuman reminiscence in both the characters and the art style. However, to note that it just reach only chapter 4, the story might not reach its potential yet, but i have a
...
lot of expectations from this series.
Up until chapter 4, it has been a fun journey! Can't wait for what's more in store

A very great, real, right in your face mature manga that uncovers the reality of being in the light of the entertainment industry (At least, in Japan)
Oshi no ko involves a deeper story rather than your typical manga. This is one of the most thoughts provoking manga I've read in recent years and one that hooked me right away since the start of the manga.
This is a story that the bigger businesses and industry stakeholders won't tell you. We dive deeper into the reality of idol world, the goals of creating a fake world involving an innocent woman who lose her happiness within the process,
...
and how sadistic the social media and entertainment industry can be. You will be at the edge of your seat most of the time with all the dramas and bitter truth behind all the smiley faces we see on TV and their fake personality.
Sometimes, all you gotta do is admit that the entertainment industry is not all about the fame and happiness; it involves trauma, lies, and tons of tears behind it. This manga is such an eye-opener towards such sensitive issues and one should read it to, at least, sympathize with all the people behind all the shows because you know, they're all just humans, just like most of us, and they can be broken as well
Well done, Aka Akasaka. You are a brave man for sure. Great ideas of the story. Contender to be one of the most interesting manga in recent years.

This series will be the new big thing. It's so wholesome, light, cute, easy to read, and overall has the potential to be a lot of people comfort manga. It's written so well from the introduction towards the character and the relationship of each character feels so real (with a bit of drama potential, considering the last 5 chapters started to heat up).
This manga has a shounen element in it with the sports theme and determination to be the best in the competition, but what sets it apart is the wholesome romance element and all the loveable characters from the main character to the
...
girls' heroine (Chinatsu Senpai should be on every list of everyone manga waifu because she is just too cute for this world).
Up until chapter 17, the story still going strong and proven by the physical manga that was sold out in Japan in just a short amount of time. If the consistency can be maintained by Miura sensei, Ao No Hako can potentially lift shounen jump reputation if the story is improved and the art style will even more neat, which is currently already great.
Hopefully, this will get anime adaptation by the time the manga has reach enough chapters to be displayed on television so that more and more people will recognize the cuteness and wholesomeness of this manga. Put this on your manga to read and you are guaranteed to have a nice day! :)

The best conclusion we can ask for the Eva series and a satisfying way to end a worthy long wait. The movie serves what we deserve from the wholesome Slice of Life scenery at the beginning of the movie to the settlement of all the characters issues right into the end
Thrice Upon A Time is perfection with some weakness just like any of the previous rebuild movies. Rebuild movies are not the manifestation of a good direction is with some of the plot holes and horrible plot build-up, However, this is not the case with this movie since the story build-up is amazing with all
...
the characters development especially Shinji massive development and several redemption and scenes that provide an answer to some of the plot hole both in the original series and the movies. The art is amazing and extremely detail, but some CGI is not pleasing to the eyes. Music is out of this world and very soothing especially in the ending part, OneLast Kiss, is a flawless song.
The biggest strength of this movie is how the production team concludes all the characters and how each of the characters is treated fairly. This left me so emotional and full of tears of joy. While the plot is slightly confusing with fast movement between one sequence to another, Anno has served us best fight scenes and last 1 hour of the movie really got me so emotional as an eva fans with all the gendoh ikari story, kaworu nagisa goals to make shinji happy, shinji ikari grown up, and every scene that supports the emotions of the characters very well.
Evangelion is never a perfect series, it has some of its weaknesses and imperfection, but the story about humanity, human emotions, mecha battle, good v. evil, and dynamics between each imperfect character will be in our hearts for a very long time
Good Bye All Evangelion. Goodbye Ayanami, you're one of my very first favorite girl character and will be weird not to see you again.
A (almost) perfect finale does exist. Sayonara, Evangelion.

Blue Period is not your typical unrealistic manga with bloody gore and thriller sequences, its is more of a relatable character journey, development, and combination of perseverance and determination to reach the goals of individual and a journey to dive into a diverse world of art industry.
Reading Blue Period is like having a flashback right before my eyes and I relate to yatora journey in the art world and his struggle in achieving perfection in creating a masterpiece. The story build-up is amazing and it feels relatable as it includes daily life and real-life struggles. Blue Period is a fascinating story about the detail of
...
the world of art and painting, it gives you a whole new perspective on how broad the art industry is with a pinch of heavy thoughts provoking of an artist journey in creating an in-depth masterpiece
The manga itself is colorful and has an almost perfect art style and successfully portraying the exploration of art and the willingness of a man to change his world and his ambition through the up and downs.
This is one of the best manga I've read in a long time and you should experience the same when you catch up with the recent chapter

It has the same feeling just like when I'm watching domestic girlfriend or kanojo okarishimasu, but it is even worse because It's even more trash than the two aforementioned series. Its completely trash from the plot, the main characters, the jokes, the thigh and waifu bait, and everything else
But somehow i can't stop watching it, perhaps we do need one dose of this kind of trash in our watchlist. It somehow feels like a pleasure even if we are sure that this series has nothing good to mention. Music is ordinary, the plot is horrible, the characters is so bad, and everything else is so
...
chaotic.
Kanojo mo kanojo is a peak of stupid ideas mix with the horrible direction of a series and one shall watch this series only if he/she has a lot of free time. Otherwise, please give it a pass
P.s: Each episode is filled only with the characters being brainless, clumsy, shouting, and just full of pure stupidity. Watch it at your own risk

This is my favorite anime of all time. This is the definition of greatness. This is the best shounen anime and no one can convince me otherwise. This is what people will remember how great a medium of anime can be.
This is the anime that makes me watch more anime back in the early 2000s. I remember watching the 99 version and I was amazed at how dark it can be, how cool the character was, how vibrant the world is, and how goated both the protagonist and antagonist in this series. Each character serves a purpose and the character development of each and
...
every one of the characters is amazing. Despite the nostalgia part, i do think the greatness of this series is reflected through a brilliant mastermind in creating a world full of adventure, excitement, and lots and lots of emotional moments that I can't mention one by one. Once we start the anime, you will immediately be involved and dig down deeper and feel a connection to all the characters; you can feel their emotion, you can feel like you have an adventure with them, and you will cry, smile, laugh, all in one sitting.
Even though it came with a very slow start, but it serves a purpose in building up the story and set relationships of each character, and the story just getting better and better. Hunter exam arc is a good arc to begin, despite the boring Zoldyck arc, but once you get past the first 3 (three) arc and when you enter the Yorkneww City Arc, this is WHERE GREATNESS BEGAN, and Chimera Ant Arc is the best shounen arcs ever made with so many emotions, so many tears, so many laughs, so many fights, so many cruel antagonists, and guaranteed to make you entertain despite the slow start.
The 2011 HxH is the peak of any shounen. Madhouse has successfully created one of the best manga adaptations this industry ever witness. Honestly, the manga design is not as great as you will expect it to be due to Togashi's inconsistent drawing even though it came with a very very great story, however, Madhouse upgrades it to a whole new level. The attention to detail, upgrade on the character design, and they do give justice and this is like the best tribute to Togashi as the original creator. The opening song is so memorable and it has become so emotional for every fan, all the endings and theme songs fit really well with the overall theme of the series. The 2011 version has successfully adapted 2 (two) of the best shounen arcs ever created and the animation is so crisp, clean, and very clean. The voice actor acting are out of this world and they deliver their best in portraying the characters and we can feel every emotional moment become so alive with the seiyuu great performance
What makes Hunter x Hunter is so great and memorable is not only the story and beautiful setting. It's about all the characters that are unique and has strong personality within each of them. Togashi is a brilliant mangaka that beautifully crafted all the power scheme, story, plot build-up, incredible world-building, various mystical land and creature, and the best character interaction and rivalry I've ever seen. Some of the fights are also cool to see, the complex antagonist really uplifts the series, the protagonist is not also as naive as it seems to be, and the plot build-up is as good if not better than series like One Piece.
Hunter x Hunter is not just an anime; its an experience to be remembered; it's one of the comfort anime to watch; it will make you appreciate how far human imagination can go;
Its a must-watch for every anime fan. It's a timeless classic that will make you appreciate the industry of Japanese animation for creating such a brilliant work

I believe some of us are expecting a lot more since the manga is out of this world.
Okay, we can all agree that the manga is amazing and the art style is superb. The intense fight and the idea is also good. (and kinda bizarre and brave, I can't imagine if all the religious leaders read the idea of this manga and portrayal of each of the gods). Put that aside, even if we just focused on reviewing this anime as a stand-alone by neglecting its sources, this will still be a very average anime that doesn't deserve to be hyped here and around
It has
...
an amazing soundtrack, that's the positive thing about the series. Kudos to all the composers, artists, musicians, and all the music staff, it was beautiful! The voice acting is also not the worst, quite nice in portraying the personality of several characters, and it has a very nice ending song. The fighting scene came with the best background music and it sets the mood pretty well. Netflix release can also make a lot of people recognize this series and perhaps got some people into watching more anime, that's a good thing.
But that's just about it.
Netflix and the studio that adapt the series is failed to deliver the best portrayal of the manga. Too much flashback, like really too much it takes more than 1/4 of the duration. The art style of this anime is also very basic and nothing too special (especially if you make it in the 2015++ i expect a bit better high-tech art style and technology). Some of the characters that we love in the manga become a little bit cringe and don't give justice to their personality in the manga. The anime also lacks in the intensity of the fight and it makes this so bland, even though it's still pretty enjoyable.
The character design is also very basic and i can't stand some of the color and lazy animation in several scenes. Not to mention its horrible pacing and a bit rushed world build-up
I can't believe the adaptation of one of the best manga with a bizarre idea can turn into pure entertainment like this and this deserves a proper remake, maybe by other studios?
I enjoy it, but at the same time, I expect a lot more.

Naoki Urasawa is back with another great storytelling filled with mystery which will make you curious and craving for more. Believe me, Asadora will be the next big thing and its get better and better with every new chapter.
This manga ambience reminds me a lot to the post-war feeling to it and the story build up is just in perfect situation, every chapter will get you guessing on what will happen next. A drama and human nature as part of pretty much a lot of urasawa work is also portrayed beautifully in asadora, including its relatable character and their own personality.
The art style and
...
drawing of this manga pretty much reflect the urasawa style, its neat and very enjoyable. All the characters is unique and the child protagonist is interesting. Can't wait for all the reveal and climax awaits in the further chapter. This has been an amazing series so far and it should be on every urasawa fans and anime fans in general reading list.

A mix of emotions. The first 5 episodes of this series is so good, the idea behind the creation of this series is interesting, the opening are among the best anime opening of all time, and the characters is unique and the animation is god tier Huge respect for all the staffs behind all the colorful sequences in the series.
But they can't keep the good impression because after the first 5 episodes everything goes downhill, bland, and kinda boring. The execution and the continuation of the good start is not done well and the series seems kinda lacking its great spirit which resulted in a
...
very confusing plot with nowhere to go
Up until 10 episode that i watch, its seems inconsistent even though it was still a pleasure to the eyes with high-tech animation and great music background. Lets see if the last 3 episode will give us any good conclusion but if it fails to do so, vivy will be such a wasteful potential..
