TL;DR it's a waste of time and you shouldn't bother, the VN is out there on steam for really cheap if you want to experience this masterpiece of a story
Hands down the worst anime adaptation of a visual novel of all time, compressing a 50-60 hour visual novel into 12 episodes is just madness. To put it into perspective, Steins;Gate's adaptation which is more than twice as short (side routes were cut, which are frankly not very relevant) had to cut some of the plot, most relevant being late game Nae, in order to fit into 24 episodes.

This is a great romcom manga unless one comes expecting more of the original Haruhi style stuff because it is not, for that buying the light novels is a way better choice. STORY: This manga is your typical romcom SOL but unlike many other manga series this one actually has development of characters' relationship and you're not gonna end up watching 150 chapters with close to nothing having happened in terms of relationship. ART: Though it is a little rough around the edges in the beginning it becomes a lot better over time. Also I find the way early chapters look quite charming. ...

This show is definetely not for everyone. It is not about character development, story progression or even a show with strong single episode stories. This show is about watching the cooking process with anime twist and then seeing people orgasm of enjoyment from the dish. If you find seeing different dishes being cooked in an anime from episode to episode entertaining then you'll definitely like it.
The plot progression is super slow, the same reactions but in different words every time alongside those overused orgasm scenes and the pacing overall make this show veeery slow: what could be shown in 6-8 episodes was shown in 18. Some ... |
