As I started watching, I was pleasantly suprised. The show had a fun premise and the art looked great. One of rare occasions when I actually like a romance anime... Though that quickly changed. The show introduced some annoying, horrible, clitche characters that completely fucked everything up. I thought the whole keeping a secret about being a girl and having to deal with women phobia plot was a good choice and could've been filled trough all 13 episodes. Simple, yet fun story.

To me atleast, it seems that Yosuga no Sora is trying too hard to look serious. Art and music compliment eachother well to give off a more weighty tone. But it's all ruined by a few things. One is that the anime has a lot of stupid sex scenes. I'm not saying that sex scenes alltogether are bad but the way they were handeled in this anime really ruined it for me. Wouldn't say I watch as much anime as everyone else here but after watching quite a few romance animes I've discovered a pattern. Throwing away the incest theme, it's just an average formula romance anime really. All males are retarded. All girls want one guy and so on. Girls beat up guys if they do anything perverted. And they just happen to do it a lot... Blah blah blah. These aren't even spoilers, it's just the generic stereotypes of a romantic anime. After discovering this hentai I've decided to watch it drunk with my friend on new years eve on a wide tv screen. And that's how I feel it should be watched for the most part. It is enjoyble because it's so ridicilous. Taking Euphoria seriously for it's plot doesn't really work since the plot isn't all that developed.
