Preliminary (6/13 eps)
Every episode feels like it's just a recap episode of the main series. The new scenes from different perspectives don't add anything new at all and don't even form a cohesive story. If you haven't seen the main series, you won't have any idea what's going on. Don't bother watching if you're hoping for more fan service than the main series, but if you want more of the ridiculous levels of bro-con antics then there's plenty of that.

This is one of those titles that doesn't fit the three episode rule. The first few episodes give hints that the show has more to offer, but mostly feel juvenile and kind of generic. However, there is more going on than might be apparent at first glance. The story grows deeper and by the end I even appreciated the beginning for the set up that it was. When I started watching this, I wondered why it wasn't more popular, but now I know. I struggled to finish the series and only my strong completionist tendencies saw me through.

If ...

Unlike similar shows, this is fully aware of how over the top it is. It's not trying to take itself seriously and is laughing along with you at all the ridiculousness. Yes, taken at face value this is one of the typical examples of light novel trash, but I don't think it's meant to be taken at face value. Even if it is meant to be completely seriously, it completely fails to be. So, while others, like Assassin's Pride, are just cringe inducing, this had me grinning and even literally laughing out loud.

If you think you might enjoy watching a ton ...
