Well what should I say, this anime is different from most others. Its most outstanding point is definitely the post-apocalyptic future scenario that is actually a paradise for humans with special abilities. It shows a not technically highly developed world; it reminds rather to a friendly past with an outstanding nature, a wonderful place for loving beings.
For me the beginning and the end made the anime, because most valuable information was presented in those times. After the first few episodes you are actually interested what is going to happen next, although you still don’t know what this is all about. It really takes time to

get into this scenario. The atmosphere is definitively very deep and the background and character drawings are simply beautiful.
What really took a bit of my patience were most of the episodes in the middle of the show. They were stretched very far and often quite boring, because you are waiting so long for something significant to happen and at the end of the episode you just wonder when they are going to reveal some secrets or drive the plot of the main characters further. These slow and long episodes somehow stretch the series a lot. I also hoped for great fights between psychic users, because that is what the show is all about. Somehow the antagonists developed also different than expected. I hoped for a stronger plot twist in the middle in order to get some interesting and intelligent antagonists. For me the characters and the story would have had much more potential to make it more outstanding and stronger. The characters would have had also more growing potential except Saki maybe.
But the hopes get much higher, especially for the final episode. After it you are finally able to understand the story and the history of this kind of civilisation. It’s like the puzzles finally fit together and make sense. First it makes you quite surprised because through the whole series you probably would not have thought of an out coming like this. After thinking about it again somehow it was quite enjoyable and definitely left a sense for a deeper meaning between species.
