I found this anime interesting because I saw the prequel. I'm glad it was different and set in a parallel world. It reminded me of Isekai no Seikishi Monogatari beause they select female champions to fight for different countries.
It also answered some questions about what happened to the previous winners of the carnival. The Main characters were more immature though which was somewhat of a let down.
All in all it was good to see the sequel.

Although I wish it had more of a direct tie in with its prequel Tenchi Muyo Series it was descent enough to carry its own stand-alone story. The real plot is still a mystery and I hope there is a sequel to it because it's the best in the Tenchi Muyo series.
What I liked about it most was the protagonist Kenshi. He must have always been made to make the best of his situation in order to keep up with those around him. He is good natured a fast learner and some heightened physical abilities thanks to his family ... |
