loyal fan of the kuroshitsuji series ... very loyal to the manga but this particular season has fallen off for me personally. i would still watch it but there is just not as giving as the earlier seasons. there is a visible change to the art style and the art, story combined is giving very much murder mystery in a harry potter f4 fanfiction. the character interaction has gotten less tense and more on the school romance chracters side and lots of dialogue at times, feel very surface level and childish. i guess the storyline in the anime is exactly true to the manga so

The yakuza, mysterious killer organisation, hot ladies..... what could possibly go wrong with an anime with all these elements! Clicked into this anime with the assumption that its going to be another dark, edgy yamisekai type of anime with a strong male lead.... pleasantly surprised! I do love my share of funny animes and the fable has cleverly incorporated funny elements with its core story- would really recommend this to anyone who enjoys their share of dark comedy and snarky humour :) Love how the art style ties in with the story too gives it a sense of 2000s nostalgia the characters, despite being very

Great art as expected from a ghibili movie, great music as well. If only considering the artisic aspect, beautifully executed. However, the movie feels like just people piecing together past ghibili movie scenes, lots of bits and pieces of concepts from older ghilibi movies thrown into a giant melting pot. It is not that the plot is unclear or that viewers would not be able to understand the scenes, but there is little to no meaning given behind most characters' actions. Not very sure how I feel about this piece, it establishes itself in the detective genre but how the main characters solve the crimes is sometimes far-fetched and questionable (fairly predictable I would say). Some of the plot feels very forced as well, just written up to advance the story/make the characters more legit..etc. However the show is fairly entertaining and has a good pace. It does incorportate some sort of a semi 'supernatural' element towards to the end with the underlying storyline. Not sure where they are heading with that but looking forward to see if they come out with another season.
