*comic book guy voice* WORST. ANIME. EVER.
For real though, don't bother wasting your time on this series. The art is ridiculously poor, the characters have next to no substance and are just about all a total bore, and the story basically consists of the protag sleeping around and making stupid decisions. I don't understand any of the characters or their actions or what the purpose of this show even was. At first I thought it would be a mundane story line to mask the fan service, but the plot just got continuously more stupid until the point that it was just painful to watch.

I was somewhat intrigued with the first few episodes; the whole story had an interesting premise. I quite like stories where you have no idea what is going on and then answers are slowly revealed, but there really wasn't any answers in Amnesia. It was confusing-ness the whole through and then a big info dump in the last episode. It had a really lack luster and unsatisfying ending for me.
None of the characters but Ukyo had any real depth, but at the same time there wasn't enough time spent on any of the characters for me to really get attached to any of them. ... |
