Hello! I just read that review you linked in Random Curiosity about Wake Up, Girls! in the last Girlish Number post. It was insightful and eloquently explains how WUG is so different from other idol animes!

A bit of self-promotion but have you seen the WUG sequel movies? I revamped the subtitles for the Beyond the Bottom movie and had the insert songs translated. You can find the subtitles in the Beyond the Bottom forum on this site.

I know this comes out of nowhere but its so great to see another WUG fan!

Thank you for your reccomendation too! I will watch it if I can have time. I won't even look at its genres. I only wish I could find a better reccomendation. Have a happy new year!
