Alright, look, this anime is special. You know when you bump into an anime, just run along some gif on Tumblr, and you're led to something extraordinary, and you think to yourself, I got lucky this time? I've had run-ins like this before with School Rumble, and Nisekoi, but I never expected it to come from this series. In fact, I went into this series with little to no clue of what it was even about. But let me tell you, is something special. This anime, the characters, the uniqueness, is unlike any other bland-ime out there.

you are reading this review and just watch it. I'm only 3 episodes in, and I am hooked. I can tell this anime will be perfect, and I have absolutely no complaints. Even if it ends as meh as School Rumble, it will still be as good as School Rumble, and as unique. The characters and voice acting is really what sells it for me though. It's a unique and unrealistic story situation, but it's fun, and interesting as well, and the main character makes up for all of the unrealistic story points with a more realistic balance. The unrealistic-ness often doesn't matter, because it's an anime, and I'm not watching an anime for a documentary of love life. Yeah, it's a harem, and it's a great one. You'll probably connect to at least one of the characters, so get ready for that.
So here's to a new great, in the leagues of my previous mentions, and let's hope for a season 2 which is currently TBA.

School Rumble is hands down one of the most unique, enjoyable, and hilarious anime available. I had to write this review because I wanted to think of the good times after I watched "School Days" and cried, and became sad. Anyways, now that that's over, let's talk a bit about School Rumble.
You should watch it. If you're a fan of being happy, having a good time, and laughing, and watching people fall in love, then you need to watch this. It has one of the most unique, and interesting casts out of any anime that I have seen to date. This show made me smile

in every episode, even in the filler!
I promise you that it will make you smile too! I don't want to spoil too much, but the love triangle gives you a lot to look forward too. You will probably find yourself marathon-ing the entire anime (2nd season, and OVA's included) just like I did. While I usually watch anime in Japanese audio, this is one of the few like Samurai Champloo, that had an excellent English cast. However, you'll have to have Japanese audio if you make it to the 3rd season/2nd OVA.
In the end, there is filler, and I was a bit disappointed by the ending not having English voices, and being so sudden and slightly lacking, but I hope that it leaves room for more School Rumble in the future. Could it possibly happen? Haha, in my dreams!

Good god. I just watched this entire anime in one day. Don't do that. Please, I would even go as far as to say avoid it, that is, if you don't want to feel like complete shit afterwards. This anime will make you feel like shit. If you're anything like me, and sensitive to relationships and people's feelings getting hurt, don't watch this. You will not be happy, you will not be thrilled, you will just feel more and more like shit, and it you will come out of it feeling worse that you'd ever expect to.

because I felt so bad for the Katsura. While she didn't know exactly what to do in the beginning, she didn't deserve anything that was handed to her throughout the series. Coming away from the anime, I can't help but to want to see my girlfriend and hold her and just cry. I'm shaking right now. This anime tore me apart.
That being said, this is a great anime, and deserves a chance if you have the heart to take it, or have gone through rough relationships. You will be effected by this anime, no matter who you are, and if you weren't then you are a complete sociopath.
