This is how a season should be concluded.
Of course, if you didn't enjoy the original season, you're probably not going to like this. But if you did, it nicely wraps up the season in a super long treat. The OVA manages to capture everything that made the original season so entertaining and gives it a well rounded ending to boot

Wow. That episode (and it was a 20 minute episode) was one of the worst conclusions that I've ever seen. It was so bad that it invoked so little emotion that it wasn't even unsatisfying. It was just bad.
The last few episodes of the main series already seemed to have came out of nowhere, but it seemed to have been setting up *something* at the very least. This final episode throws away any and all setup that was established in those episodes, and pulls out plot twists as if it were perfectly normal. There is a reason that most manga isn't turned into a single movie.

Although it did a good job cramming 6 volumes of manga into 2 hours, the story in the movie was downright nonsensical. The plot really only started to make sense after ~30 minutes, and even then it was confusing. Although the plot overall did not make sense, it still had enough flow to go from each plot point to the next, which was good enough to not completely ruin the experience.

If you are expecting an anime version of Romeo and Juliet, look elsewhere.

Although the plot seems to follow along Shakespeare's original play, it is more like if someone took a spin-off of the play... and added comedy and anime tropes to it.

However, the lack of Romeo and Juliet themes doesn't detract from the overall viewing experience. The atmosphere is surprisingly lighthearted, in spite of several more serious events taking place.
