I have like 2-3 anime that technically aren't considered "hentai" on my list so how do I consider what to put on my list and what not to, you might ask?
well, it's simple....
If it has more sex than actual plot it gets added to this list and not my main
(and vice versa)

My Rating System
My rating is based mainly on 2 categories: Personal enjoyment/ subjective opinion and how good it is narrative wise/ how well it's written.
Personal Enjoyment plays a bigger role in the rating but the narrative part is also extremely important as if the story is genuinely under average then personal enjoyment alone isn't enough to give it a super high rating.
If the story has very strong writing but I didn't enjoy it much, the strong story will probably raise the ratings by a little bit even if I didn't enjoy it.
10/10- Perfection: I rarely give 10/10’s and that’s because a 10/10 to me has to be more than just a perfect story without any flaws. When it comes to a 10/10 it has to affect me on a personal and emotional level, of course on top of that it has to have a great story, great characters and is brilliantly written. Another thing that separates a 10 from other numbers is that it gets better with time and I can always happily rewatch any of these without losing my love for it.
9/10- Amazing: Something that I rate a nine is an anime that I love with all my heart and enjoyed watching it. Some of my nines can be called masterpieces narrative wise but the things that set it back are either the anime didn’t stick with me as time passes, Inconsistent moments that my tens didn't have or upon rewatching I enjoyed it a lot less. Either those or it needs to be stronger narratively or my personal enjoyment simply wasn't at "10 level." Regardless, I would rewatch pretty much all my nines as well.
8/10- Great: An incredible anime that I loved watching and rate very highly. I love all my eight's as much as I love my nines. Despite having rare and minor flaws every now and then. It can also be a very small step down either storytelling wise or I didn't enjoy it as much as a nine. Almost all of these still bring me nothing but happiness and I would rewatch almost all my eights.
7/10- Good: Although there is a chance that it can have flaws story wise or I didn't enjoy it as much as the anime in the "eights" section, at the end of the day I enjoyed watching it and I’m very happy I put time into it. Although there could have been some flaws or inconsistency the positives of the anime heavily outweigh the negatives and overall made it an enjoyable and fun watch. I would rewatch some of these but not all.
6/10- Above Average: There are aspects I loved but some aspects I thought could be improved on, whether it’s the story, the characters, the visuals etc. (or maybe just my enjoyment) But overall I still had a good time watching most of these and was worth my time and I think they are above average but are lacking the greatness of anything that is rated 7+. I would rewatch a few of my sixes but there are some that I probably won't as well.
5/10- Average: Narrative wise and personal enjoyment wise it's simply average. I usually forget about these anime until they are mentioned in a conversation (or anything along those lines) and there are aspects I liked but there are moments in the anime that set it back from being higher than it could have. It’s far from awful but far from perfection. The negatives and postives outweigh each other. (Also the majority of the recap specials I’ve seen go in here and that’s because it doesn’t really add anything new and whether I enjoyed it or not I don’t wanna give it too high but giving it less than a 5 would also be kind of disrespectful so I keep it as average.) I don't think I'll rewatch anything 5 or under but there can be some exceptions.
4/10- Below Average: Not awful but below average. I thought the anime had a few good ideas and a few good things but I had a few issues with it whether it's the presentation, pacing, characters or anything along those lines that set it back from being higher and below average. I don't hate any of these and still respect them as stories but I probably wouldn't rewatch my 4s.
3/10- Bad: It wasn't the worst thing on earth and it was watchable but personally I didn't enjoy it much and got pretty bored during it or it had issues in it's actual story. It might have had good ideas, good moments and promising parts but at the end of the day it didn't deliver what it could of and I had far more negatives to say than positives. Starting from the threes, the chances of rewatching any of these are like 1%-5%. A sign that helps me identify a three is when I feel happier when I finally finish (cause it's finally overwith) than when I'm actually watching the content provided.
2/10- Very Bad/ Close to being unwatchable: Extremely boring, uninteresting and not worth the time. I don't usually drop anime so I'll still finish but regardless, I still disliked watching it and quite honestly disliked the anime itself. There can be some positives and even if there are it is pretty much unenjoyable with the crazy amount of negatives. It can still be worse but I feel as if my time was wasted. I won’t ever rewatch any of these for sure.
1/10- Pretty much unwatchable: There wasn’t anything interesting about it and it had pretty much no positives. I was either bored to death, confused, annoyed and showed no interest in anything that happened. I didn’t have enjoyment watching any of it and narrative wise the story is lacking and tiresome and I have nothing good to say about it. Thankfully It’s extremely rare for me to give out a 1 star but I will give them if it’s truly necessary.
Unrated- If Something is still unrated it could mean a couple things.
- I either haven't completed it / it's still airing in it's early stages and I need to get a better understanding or finish the whole series before I know what to rate it.
- I completed it but it was a long time ago so I need to rewatch it to give it an actual rating. ( An example would be the original Fullmetal Alchemist)
Additional note: I realized I kept saying "Anime" for each rating instead of "anime and manga" or just "manga" but it was just easier for me to say anime.
This rating system applies for my manga list as well so yeah.
10/10 Hall of Fame
These are Anime that I once considered to be 10/10 anime but I no longer do. At one point all of these were once rated as a 10 and even now I still love all of them but throughout time I decided to drop it as a 9. ("Hall of Fame" might not be the best term to use for this but oh well)
Ordered by closest to still being a 10, Here are the current anime that are in my 10/10 hall of fame:
Hotaru no Haka
Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
Doraemon Movie 31: Shin Nobita to Tetsujin Heidan - Habatake Tenshi-tachi
JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken Part 4: Diamond wa Kudakenai
