probably would have given it a higher score if it wasn't so damn confusing. i feel like i was expected to have read the manga before getting into this. will definitely now spend the next hour reading about how the white whistles work/are made, the "consciousness" that kept getting mentioned, the blessing of the abyss, the curse cartridges, how bondrewd was watching them (his mind switching relic??), etc etc.
even so, even with this deluge of information, all the random relics that keep getting brought up, and a world with endless possibilities, im impressed by the lack of "plot armor". the world still plays by
