Hi, I'm trying to start a club for critical and knowledgable anime fans. I came across your account in the “ONA/OVA/Movie” club and you seem to fit the bill. The two purposes of the club are to foster community via the club Discord server, and to create a robust poll of the "greatest anime of all time", voted on by members in a thread on the front page of the club. By the way you have quite an eclectic taste for a girl, you even like Golden Boy. I never thought that there will be a girl who like that because from what little I've read it seems to be full-blown ecchi fanservice manga. It's actually quite infamous in my childhood for it's ecchiness. Why do you like it so much?
I guess it's true that girl have much more tolerance to boy stuff than the reverse. I always have trouble reading some kinds of reverse harem, that's why I decided to hold on Fruits Basket, since it seems to develop to be a battle to get heroine's love. What made it so interesting to you?
I've only seen Solaris of theses 3 but I'll watch Ivan's Childhood sometime.

Zerkalo was a really great film but putting it into my favourite film list would probably not be honest since I didn't fully understand what it was about and had to read up interpretations. But I really liked the sound of the word Zerkalo :P.
I liked his other films more. Stalker is of course great aswell.
I see then.. I understand why you could hate it. I personally have melancholic tendencies so over-the-top dialogue are ok for me. By the way, it seems you read a lot of shoujo, can you recommend me some? I've been trying too read some shoujo and even some of critically acclaimed titles like Skip Beat and High School Debut is a miss for me. What I don't like about shoujo is that the male lead are somehow always the same, sparkling, cool, prince-in-a-horse type.
Some shoujo titles that I enjoy are:
Lovely Complex, Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun, 3 Gatsu no Lion, Warau Kanoko-sama, and Tomodachi no Hanashi (this is best ever shoujo that I've read!). Thanks!
