Poor. For a comedy anime, there are nothing interesting about the story and a lot of the jokes are not even funny.

Character:
... Some of the characters in this anime are ok and kinda interesting to watch (such as the teacher, Loli and the twin-tail MC), but everything spoiled by Tanaka, the weirdly-shaped-short-haired main character.

From all of the years I spent watching anime, I can proudly say that have found my 'the-most-annoying-character'. The MC, Tanaka is the most annoying anime character i ever watch. Even more annoying than watching any bland-wuss-airhead of any MC of harem series anime.

Enjoyment:
This anime is single handedly ruined by Tanaka since she get the most screen time out of all characters with her lame, stupid 'jokes' and extremely rude behaviour. This character is trying so hard to be funny that it's annoying, failing extremely at being a gag character.

Overall:
Other reviews regard this anime as hidden gem comedy? Underrated? Comparable to Daily Life of High School Boys (Danshi koukosei no nichijou)?
BIG FUKING BS. Don't make me laugh, it's not even comparable. This anime is nowhere close to being a mediocre comedy anime.
It got the potential with its lots of characters but ruined by its bad MC Tanaka and bad jokes that trying too hard to be funny.

I'd say this anime is bad. Don't waste your time.
BUT, if you like or you can bare with the Tanaka character, this anime is ok-ish for time-wasting.

I like cats and i like slice of life genre, that's why i was interested in this.
Expecting both combo of interesting slice of life and cute cats but what i found is bad story and trash depiction of cat.

Story:
It's like written by socially awkward author that has no common sense and never interacted and know anything about cats, only written with bare minimum imagination about cats after some half-ass online research and a walk in pet store.

Art:
Terrible quality for today's standard. It's like I'm watching some old 2000-ish anime.

Lack of character background. MC is terribly cheap pathetic character with no redeeming aspect that somehow turned into human-hating just because his parents were dead. He throws fit and tantrum everytime he has to interact with people. FFS.

I can say the only good thing thing about this show is the cat is cute...but the cat got the bad anime/manga syndrome that is it's given a more human-like characteristic than cat-like. I have always hated the depiction of cat/animal that is more human-like than animal-like especially in a slice of life genre.

Enjoyment: Feel terrible since start of episode 1, immediately dropped after into 2nd episode.

Overall: Baited to watch this trash due to cats, dropped due to bad everything.

Story: Good
Overall best isekai story yet. Revolving NOT ONLY the protagonist and his henchmen (like EVERY other isekai ever that only focus on the stupid OP-ness of it's main character while still leveling up to infinite strength) BUT ALSO involving other characters in the world (although it's just like 2 countries).

As you all that read a lot of isekai manga/novel can agree with me, isekai is power fantasy story usually showing OP MC in quest of saving the world while leveling up with it's merry harem party facing a lot of trials along the way. But unlike most isekai manga/anime, Overlord took a little bit ... change in the genre (if you can call isekai as it's own genre now) making it very unique and stand out compared to other isekai, which is:- making MC and the gang already OP as fuck since the beginning. This series shows only a glimpse of the power of Ainz and the gang, showing fractions of their ridiculous OP powers without any progress of leveling up. So what to do with all the powers that the MC and the gang possess? Instead of guarding the world for everlasting peace, how about conquering the world for themselves?

What make this story good? The answer is it's different with any other isekai. While most isekai focus on good-natured MC-and-friends leveling up and travelling the world to fight demon king, Overlord show the progress and how this apathetic-of-anyone-useless Demon king itself taking over the world little by little through schemes and sheer power while the humans of the worlds also got their own hidden agenda. While this show lean more to the 'serious' side, it also got bits of funny scenes that genuinely nice.

Art: Fair.
Same like any other anime production. So-so quality with generic bad CGI.

Sound: Fair.
Same like any other anime production. Nothing stand out much.

Character: Good.
Each characters in this anime are interesting. From the party of Ainz to the lowly humans, all got unique characteristic that shows how each of them suit in the scenario of each arc. From manipulating and deceiving characters to dumb-honest characters and stupid annoying characters, everyone has their own purpose.
The only thing I don't like is the lack of character introduction and their exposure for some characters. You need to read the manga and the novel for that.

Enjoyment: Good.
Very much enjoyable if you ever get sick of generic isekai with OP MC with harem of women that only revolve around ecchi things.

Overall: Good.
Can't wait for more of this anime story.

Side note:
If you are the kind that want to watch a generic isekai anime with leveling up things in term of strength and acquiring infinite new skills, new 'titles' that will never be useful for the story, with friendship power that overcome everything, fast pace, ecchi harem all episode go watch other anime. Overlord is not for you.

Meh.

Story - Continuation from the 1st season with a little bit of progression/character development. The early part is a bit interesting and funny. the latter parts are meh.

Art - Standard anime art style.

Sound - OK, nothing fancy or nice enough.

Characters - MC is still as interesting as the 1st season, Aqua as annoying as before (maybe even more annoying this season). Megumin is the same, just level up a bit in term of fire power. Dustiness/Lalatina got a bit more of character 'progress'? revealing how much of Maso she is.

Enjoyment - Earlier part of the season is kinda funny but after that, just continuation of ... nothing and lack of 'comedy' (if you can call those moments funny).

Overall - Meh

Recommend? Not really.
Same as the 1st season, Watch this if you got nothing better to do or nothing else to watch. The show is a comedy show but don't expect a really nice comedy from this anime

Characters - MC is kinda funny, Aqua is annoying, Megumin and Dustiness are OK, but with repeated jokes make them kinda bland. No character progress at all. Can see a bit progress in MC but none in other characters. Nothing about leveling up or character development.

... Enjoyment - OK show if got nothing else to do or just for killing some time.

Overall - Meh.

Recommended? Not really.
Watch if got nothing better to do or nothing else to watch. Watch without any hope or expectation and watch just for the show's bland comedy.

I stumble upon this anime after attracted to the old-medievil-fantasy genre. Since it got high score from MAL, i decided to give a shot at this.

Unfortunately, after watching almost half of this series, i can conclude that this story is extremely, overly, overrated. This anime is extremely not interesting. I wonder why it got such high rating. Most probably due to the nostalgia..

This anime got almost all characteristics that any weak/terrible anime have.
1. Stupid story that make no sense with no background whatsoever plus with stupid, weak story-telling. extremely fast paced, skipping time frame, plus nothing about the world of this anime is explained.
All these ... makes me feel everything about this anime is dumb and stupid.
2. Stupid, annoying, typical trope of characters with weak seiyuu.
3. Inconsistent and terrible animation.

The only good bout this anime is the music but it is just OK at best. Nothing great.

What a waste of anime it could be a bit more interesting if it was executed/done properly. STAY AWAY from this crap. Stop wasting your time.
