This is my 2nd account here, and I'm starting fresh (well, almost).

I've been watching anime since I was 13, and over the years, I've allowed life to interfere with my watching, but here's me trying to remedy that.

My rating system:

If something gets an 8 or above from me that means I’m a fan of that anime.

10 - A masterpiece. It may also be an anime that holds a special meaning for me or that has greatly impacted me in some way.

9 - A great anime that I enjoy immensely. There is something special about it, and it makes me feel some type of way.

8 - A solid, very good anime that leaves me satisfied. Its merits far outweigh its shortcomings, and it’s a mostly enjoyable watch.

7 - A good anime that I have particular problems with. It’s an overall entertaining experience, with some memorable moments, but it has the potential to be so much better.

6 - A fine, nice anime. It’s still enjoyable, albeit forgettable, and is entertaining to a certain degree. Though not that impressive, there’s still something about it that makes one want to watch.

5 - An average anime that I have mixed feelings about or that I'm neutral on. This can be used to kill time, but that’s about it. The pros and cons are mostly evenly matched.

4 - A mediocre anime. Though it’s boring and uninspiring, it doesn’t completely flop. But the bad is starting to overtake the good, and I’m leaning more towards disliking it.

3 - A bad anime that I find tedious to watch. There’s very little enjoyment to be had, and there are certain aspects that I particularly dislike. One needs to wade through all the bad in order to get to the good.

2 - A horrible anime that is painful/hard to watch. It’s an overall unpleasant experience.

1 - An appalling anime that is awful in every way. It feels like a punishment to watch. Alarmingly offensive and harmful.

I hope I never get to give a 2 or 1.
