Hi ^_^. Welcome to the Maximum the Hormone fanclub. I hope you enjoy what's there to offer :P.

Have you finished yet?

Seinen are the anime/manga aimed at the older than teen male audience. So, the violence and boobs. :P

Well, I actually ended up liking Kanon (the same friend is making me watch Lucky Star, actually) xD

I actually find manga MUCH more time consuming than anime, but a lot of my friends disagree with me!

Well, Dogs is less "pretty" than Bus Gamer, but it's definitely all about kicking ass!

I just realized there's a reply button. xD I'm still sort of new to this site.

Well all three I plan on watching are recommendations that I know little to nothing about really. xD

I've meant to get to Air Gear for awhile, but I've been putting it off along with Hitman Reborn.

As for Dogs, it's a very violent seinen manga. 8D A link is in my favorite manga section. :D

I don't really watch much anime. Most series I've seen are from many years ago. :/ BUT I've just recently tried to get back into it. :)

Honestly, I'm still pretty hung up on Monster.

But I have plans to watch Darker Than Black, Blood+, Lucky Star soon.

Also I follow the serialization of the manga Dogs. :)

By far my most favorite thing about the series was the depth and interest in the characters. Each was SO WELL thought out and developed. :D

A lot of what you take away from Monster depends on you. In the end it is an affirmation of the beauty of human life, but I think with the multitude of characters there is always someone a watcher can identify with.

Hmmm, Monster isn't for everyone, but I think within the next 20 or so episodes you'll really know if it's for you or not. As I said--it does pick up again in the 40s. ^^

I think Monster didn't really intend to have a particular "genre" and that it sort of got...stuck with labels. It does have some elements of mystery, but it definitely isn't the "standard" mystery. A great deal of the story is figuring out the motivations and next actions of the antagonist, but even more so--yes--the story is about Tenma and whether he'll forsake his belief in the equality of human life.

And really? I didn't particularly like the openings or endings. :(

Monster really does throw characters in and out of the story. Still, I found most side characters introduced to be memorable and helpful to the story. :D By the 40s I just *had* to finish it quickly. I wanted to know what happened next so badly. xD
