At first, I was sure this movie would be in my watchlist for ages because the last movie of the director didn’t really impress me that much. Then I got bored and scrolled through Netflix and well, I gave it a try. So glad I did!
It really is a wonderful movie.
I gotta compare this movie to another non-anime related movie that cane out at the same time; Disneys Wish. The movie was the 100th year celebration movie where you would imagine

demon slayer reminds me of my hero academia in blandness.
i can’t pinpoint the reason why I feel so irritated by the 3rd season. the animation was quite beautiful, I grew very fond of the characters but somehow those characters never tend to move forwards in their personal strengths. Tanjiro saved the day, Nezuko got one useful scene, another Hashira appeared and got overwhelmed by a demon. The first season was really good, second one got repetitive and the third one was just a mix of both. However I do like the characters and will continue to support this anime. Yet it’s just nothing new. |
