I am a huge fan of Mari Yoshino's work, however, I was originally sceptical about this work at the beginning. I decided to pick up after I completed Momoiro Heaven and I was not disappointed.
This work is very close to Momoiro Heaven, both in terms of plot and in terms of character design. The romantic plot is very light and easy to follow and this is one of the main reasons I really like Mari's sensei work. Even when it comes to rivals, I like how she doesn't make them specifically as the bad characters of the story but brings them in a new

light.
Her art is pretty good for shoujo, the characters are very close to home for her and while some reader might find it troublesome, personally I really like it because it gives me a sense of recognition towards my favourite author.
The plot in beauty bunny can come across as misogynistic, because how the main characters react to cosmetics, but I felt that midway once new characters were introduced it felt lesser and was a way to not completely vilifying the industry.
I do recommend this manga and that once you start don't stop at mid because there is a lot of growth in the characters and the plot.
