Don't expect much depth in this series, its an easy read with beautiful art but not of the characters will truly win your admiration. None may stick with even when you are done. If you want to read something quick as an in-between this may be it.
Art: Beautiful, what can I say Ema Tomayo has the ability to create beautiful attractive characters, more so the men because the females are always cutesy looking.

just dissipate because you met some guy. Most of the characters are unbelievably selfish, I would be bold to say none of them know what love is. That especially goes for Ren and Juri, even Mito and especially Ren's parents. They are all mostly pretty faces.
Plot: In some places you have a problem appear and you think it's going to be explored a little further, well no, it gets resolved in the next few pages in a very haphazard way that leaves you wanting more depth. Also, it is clear that the story is trying to do too much all at once and bring in the idea of love that transcends gender. It doesn't at all they make statements like "I don't care if you are a boy or girl but also I am so glad your a girl because you are my destined partner"... With Juri and his crush in particular it felt so forced to be something it wasn't. Juri is selfish, not allowing Mito to give Takara a chance to hit it off with some girls because Juri is afraid he would never look his way if he looked cooler. Well yeah he was never going to either, Juri cornered him. Takara was always hitting on girls never once did he show any other proclivities for him to suddenly turn gay? Also not buying that.

The art is very beautiful, characters are handsome, and the facial reactions comedic at times, no complaints in that regard. That aside,
There were some great moments and then some really annoying moments. First off, I'm not the greatest fan on stories that establish a couple almost immediately in the first volume. The ML keeps a facade of being personable, when he really hates having to put in that effort. He struggles with keeping that reputation and just being himself a bit which is a little more snarky yet kind. I would have liked to see more of that but I felt he became too tame

with Ellie rather quickly. Ellie doesn't show much growth and is headstrong to the point of unapologetically making bad decisions she doesn't learn from. She pretty constant imo and comes of as self-righteous. In one problem she sounded as if she were saying yeah my choice I hurt you but I feel justified, I don't care about your point much I'm too stubborn to back down.
Ellie is pervy which comes off as funny, but at times she really only is lustful to the point that she's a bit shallow and utterly lacking in many regards. There are other characters who unfortunately weren't drawn more in the story take Kaname, loved his personality and his character had substantial growth, another couple in particular had a lot to offer and I wish I got to see more of them over Ellie. It is cliched in the sense that a kind of average girl gets an above average guy, sure it gives hope to us average girls but fantasizing can't be her only redeeming talent.
There are some truly hilarious parts that come up throughout but towards the end I was getting irritated, there was relief when I finished it. I'm glad I read it, I am even more glad it's over. There's nothing grandiose to gain or lose if you choose to read or skip. But you may find a character that will appeal to you, don't be surprised if it isn't any of the leads, I never found myself rooting for them I was invested elsewhere on side characters.

Taking it as typical RT shonen (from what I have read so far) she's not the type to have overly gushy endings but ones left to your imagination with some guidance. Meaning you at least have an idea of what will eventually happen, even if not stated directly. Ranma, however, like other's accurately pointed out, has so many loose ends. You can anticipate how things will resolve but it is a huge frustration that so many were left up to the reader's imagination.
Character-wise: There were a few characters I could have done without, take Happosai, honestly got in the way and was so annoying.

Akane and Ranma are typical teens acting as such and unfortunately with RT the girls don't have much growth in areas they lack. For example Akane's inability to swim or cook, it shows up in a few plots of her trying to persevere but usually ends in failure and with her never mastering either. Only the male leads ever face a challenge and master the skills needed to overcome them...so lame. I also found Shampoo irritating because she was always blocking any growth between Akane's and Ranma's relationship. I felt sorry for Mousse who really cared for her.
Overall: It lives up to what it should be, teens are all over the place at times and growing. They would have been too young to marry at that time if they did. So it's a nice ending in the sense that you know they will mature in all areas. Their lives are chaotic and the ending sums it up. It affirms what we hope, although it doesn't give us the satisfaction of seeing it for ourselves. It is a good read, I'm not hung up on it at the end which means I can move on to other reads fairly peacefully.

I personally found this manga to be amusing and funny. There's a lot of growth and character development and it follows a clear plot line. I'll minus points due to certain overused tropes that I won't ruin. I personally enjoyed the direct confrontations the scheming ( for good reasons) the in your face shock that's meant to get a kick out of you. I was enjoyable. The whole consent thing wasn't an issue I don't think everything is meant to be so cut and dry and as they never went beyond a certain limit like a pervy groper would I had no issues here.

sharp if that makes sense, it's not as nice as others perhaps in the sense that it doesn't do cutesy eyes and what not. I didn't find any character cute or handsome but I felt it was normal, some of the girls were a bit similar except for one whose eyes were always closed now she was beautiful.
Characters: Loved the protagonists and their stubbornness yet genuine care about each other, they have everything you'd want in a couple the consideration, attraction, and humor from her part.
Plot: Yeah there's a lot of worn out tropes and things that are tangential to the story. But I suppose it provides character perspective but yes this is the weakest point in that sense. It does reach a satisfying conclusion without using a timeleap, which I appreciated.
Overall, I enjoyed it and would reread it if I run out of material, unfortunately I don't reread manga much even my favorites,

The show is good, I enjoyed the manga and without spoiling plots, I will add that you're better off reading this. Why? Because in adapting it to anime they removed essential pieces and even characters of the subplot to squeeze the story into two seasons. And that makes it seem rushed and incomplete. BUT I'll be honest you probably won't notice it too much if you haven't read the manga though the ending may feel lacking.

least they are decently well-rounded. You will probably recognize tropes that have been used ad naseaum sometimes they work sometimes they don't, in this case it's fine.
Give it a shot some people I know really enjoyed it I however didn't, what really irked me was removing essential characters that felt wrong.

So before I finish reading this manga, because its direction is fairly obvious, I wanted to review it. The plot moves quickly in a very predictable manner. The overall story is a good pastime, it can serve as an in between manga while you wait for your favorites to come out and be published or translated to English. The characters... well the girl is a strapped for money temp loser whose only redeeming quality is her loyalty and possibly optimism. happens that he can financially support her. She has no self respect and really loves getting taken advantage of, so she's weak and irritating. The dude is whatever and assaults her but she's into it somehow because she really doesn't put up a fight. They really act like she's some trophy but she really is so lame and she doesn't do anything to change that.

So I would classify VN as thought provoking in the sense that when you finish it you're left with lingering thoughts.
Plot: The plot wasn't all over the place nor did it leave a lot of unanswered questions, if any, so it was simple to follow. Maybe the one instance that I was a bit confused reading was how a vampire heart could turn another vampire to a human, did it fuse together to cancel each others' nature out, was it completely transplanted because then Yuki gives her heart to Kaname but isn't that really her moms? Now despite the plot not being messy it

had a lot of weaknesses as others have stated the one person who really shouldered the movement of plot was Kaname, his actions and his alone advanced the story which I don't think is right. Plus the time leap trope makes an appearance.
Characters: Okay I would say Aido is my favorite, now that that is out of the way Yuki is supposed to be the heroine but she more like an indecisive lovestruck teenager torn between the two men in her life, and she keeps making the wrong decisions. Kaname is the kindest and most calculating of all the characters, it is the consequences of dealing with vampires trying to curry favor and control him, he's a mysterious character who doesn't show his true nature to anyone, and he chooses not to clarify misunderstandings out of selflessness. Kiryuu is shown to be a moody character, given his past it's appropriate, I didn't really like how at one point they implied he was suicidal because it felt out of character since he seemed more to be driven by anger. In general he is disciplined, focused hunter, he seems highly biased but he is capable of retracting prejudice and admitting mistakes. The headmaster is an intriguing character himself with a lot of unexplored history but usually no one takes him seriously.
Art: Hair is drawn beautifully if a bit stiff, however it not my favorite style but it has appeal, Kiryuu, Kaname, and Ruka are perhaps the most elegant. Yeah I din't include Yuki because she isn't she only looks decent as vampire Yuki with long hair.
Overall: I liked it, I was left grappling with the fact that Yuki stayed true to herself to the end as a wuss who never made a decision to choose a lover. She basically choose both and neither. Annoyance notwithstanding, and my own conflicting thoughts, she gave them the best she could with what she had though they deserved much more, but I feel like I can comprehend her choice.

To echo a common sentiment I've seen among other readers of this manga, the problem is really with the main characters. Their portrayal of marriage is inaccurate, well even before that it's cliche, you'd think Chiwa is a strong character and in actuality she's clingy, utterly useless, ambitionless, and she starts things without finishing them, I mean the only thing she can do well is cook and clean. When her emotional state is in disarray it reflects into her work, so she can't compartmentalize. Their marriage is one where two incompatible people don't even try to meet in the middle there's hardly any character development,

Hokuto is pretty selfish throughout the story justifying his actions by saying he needs to reach a certain level of power in order to get answers ( yet, when he quits he gets the answers in like one chapter as opposed to the 20yrs he spent working to get up top so like how?) Anyway then he says its for Chiwa, they never effectively communicate, and Chiwa cries about literally everything, bruh I'm at a loss at how many nice guys cared for her, Asahina in particular had more substance than she ever did. Chiwa and Hokuto belong together otherwise the rest of the people in that world could fall into the misfortune of ending up with them, she honestly infuriates me. And the last thing I'll whine about was the sexuality, it was sheerly unbelievable, their were things mentioned as axioms that could easily be refuted even with my limited knowledge. But maybe the true culprit is the mangaka?

Having seen another review mentioning how this one is compared to Kamisama hajimemashita, I get how some tropes are similar with the Ayakashi and the school girl, however they have completely different plot lines. I was able to follow Kamisama's story progress without much head scratching, this one felt all over the place.
Artistry: Yes, its beautiful especially the pages with color after the cover pages but it just wasn't my cup of tea, their limbs looked so unnatural and their fingers spidery. I believe the style was whimsical and like I said although beautiful it wasn't my favorite, everything was too chiseled.

I hate it when the girls fall in love like after 2 hours.
The ML nothing particularly off-putting or exceptional, honestly felt he didn't really do much in terms of his duty, maybe I was missing some action? Also don't like how he makes one sided decision when it comes to people who care about him, he's so ready to lose his life for no reason.
The main antagonist, not even he was really threatening he was just a nuisance.
Also what the heck does it mean that he was born connected to a vein of human sin...like wuh? What does that even mean so many weird incoherent bits of seemingly important info.
