This is honestly one of my favourite animes of all time. I feel like this one is not appreciated enough because of the Brotherhood version, but I think we shouldn't forget it and remove it so completely. It's simpler than the newer version but just as heartbreaking, or even more at times, in my opinion. It doesn't lack humor and the characters are just amazing. There was so much work put in the story that I am quite surprised that so many people prefer to just erase it. Maybe some parts weren't expanded thoroughly, lacking some points, maybe some were unnecessarily drawn-out and the explanation
