These two master works are not only made by the same author, but they were also adapted by the same studio. Baccano! and Durarara!! are both shows about people from the underworld as you would call it. Individuals fighting for a certain object, gang wars, murders and other similar things are common in those tow anime. Both also have a very particular style of story telling, having multiple plots at the same time for example. And last but not least, the way of handling characters, and the characters themselves, are very similar.

Jazz & crimes goes together like macaroni & cheese. Baccano! and Great Pretender are both shows about criminals doing criminal things, but somehow they make it mesmerizing to watch. The two have have extremely original and well written casts that kind of makes you want to root for the ''bad guys''. Finally, they both have amazing soundtracks.

Golden Kamuy
add

Golden Kamuy and Jojo's Bizarre Adventure are both shows about manly men doing manly things and they take place in the late 19th and early 20th century. While Jojo and Golden Kamuy are mostly serious stories the two contain hilarious and goofy scenes. Finally the characters are also very similar. The protagonist(s) of each show (Jonathan and Joseph for Jojo and Sugimoto for GK) are clever strategists and like I said previously are very manly. And as for the antagonist, Tsurumi and DIO, they are both purely evil entities that are detestable in every way and that fact kind of makes them interesting.

March comes in like a lion and Your Lie in April are both amazing dramas following an introverted kid with a huge passion and talent in a certain activity. Both of these shows also both have a similar art style which may not be beautiful on their own, but they fit their respective anime all too well. And finally I need to mention that both of these anime are extremely sad, which is to be expected from dramas, but in my opinion the sadness factor in both of these anime is WAY above average.

Non Non Biyori and Fireworks both, for the most part, follow a group of friends doing normal things in a rather rural town. They're both really calm anime, but not necessarily bad. Tho they may feel incomplete at times, they both make it up with their amazing soundtracks and characters.

The MCs also have really a similar love interest. Senjougahara and Yukino both are really intelligent yet quiet and monotonous beings. Tho, in both novels, the protags (Araragi and Hikigaya) don't really wan't to get with their respective love interest which leads to some pretty interesting scenes displaying a one sided love. And last but not least, Monogatari and Oregairu display an amazing comedy and have a lot of pop culture references in them.

add

Charlotte and Seishun Buta Yarou are both shows following the story of a group a teenagers with some supernatural ''abilities'' that are only present during one's teenage years. The characters are also pretty similar. First of all, for the role of the protagonist we have an average high-school student that is kind of edgy and doesn't have a lot of friends. That protagonist also has a little sister which is... Well you know... An anime little sister... And finally, both shows have an amazing and heart warming romantic plot.

Gods, surreal monsters, magic, strong emotions and edginess may seem strange together, but not in the eyes of Madoka★Magica and Noragami. Both shows follow the story of a young girl which suddenly develops magical powers after meeting a god like figure. After acquiring their magic powers, the MCs start seeing weird monsters and are pushed into fighting them. After that, we discover that feeling too much emotions may be harmful, this is where it gets edgy, and the people feeling these strong emotions begin to get corrupted. Lastly, I found the protagonist of each show really similar. Madoka and Hiyori start off seeming innocent but kind characters, but rapidly matures as the plot progresses.

add

Comparing a shounen to a shoujo may seem like a crazy idea, but both shows were so similar that this fact can be overlooked. Ouran Koukou Host Club and Nisekoi are both romcom harems that follow the story of an high school student. Both protagonists (Haruhi and Ichijou) have opposite backgrounds with their main love interest (Tamaki and Chitoge) which leads to some pretty funny scenes depicting the clash between their family situations. Ouran and Nisekoi also have what we could call an ''homosexual supporting cast'' which is way more prominent in Ouran, but can also be perceived in Nisekoi in characters such as Seishirou.

K-On! and Free! are both shows made by Kyoto Animation depicting a group of cute boys/girls making a club and having fun. You could say they're ''feels good anime'' that are easy to consume and pretty well made. Finally, these animes are similar also because of their casts composing of 4 (or 5 if you count Azusa and Rin as main characters) high school students that start of not knowing a lot about each other but get closer as the story progresses.

Now now now let me explain the similarities between Nanatsu no taizai and the Fate franchise. Both shows have really similar characters, for example Ban really made me think of Gilgamesh with their greedy personalities and overall chaotic neutral vibe and King made me think of Waver because of their laid back and soft character. Now to the obvious, both shows are centered around wars the holy grail war for Fate and the holy war for Nanatsu no taizai which are about medieval looking dudes fighting against themselves. And last of all both Mcs (Meliodas and Kiritsugu) have profound and sad backstories that lead them to be similar people.

The monogatari series and Konosuba are both animes about perverted guys suddenly becoming friends with girls that quickly turns into a harem. Not to mention that both anime have extremely great comedy, a bunch of ecchi and really great casts. I also think that both shows are similar based on the protagonists. Both Kazuma and Araragi are guys in the end of their teenage years, that have pretty perverted mindsets, are kinda funny and most of all charismatic.

JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken Part 4: Diamond wa Kudakenai
add

Bakemonogatari and Jojo part 4 are really similar and not a lot of people seem to notice it for some reason. Both shows take place in bizarre towns with a lot of strange happenings and equally strange people. The protagonists befriends some of those said people in extremely well written arcs that introduces the characters in a perfect way that makes the story feel at least 10 times more complete. That and the plot of both the shows about defeating small menaces around the city makes Jojo DIU and Bakemonogatari strangely similar.
