Whilst your plan to watch list is good the ones not to bother with are Black Bullet, Fullmetal Alchemist (FMAB is a remake not a sequal), Guilty Crown (massive letdown) and Zero no Tsukaima (everything else is just better)
Some of the other stuff is also meh but thats imo - other people like them - the stuff mentioned is consensually shit.
