Definitely one of the best anime of this year; thoroughly enjoyed this masterpiece and even shed a tear at the end, which is really something for me. I think Zankyou no Terror is going to be up there on my top 10 all time favourites.
The storyline was truly well thought out, adding a factor of mystery regarding the two male protagonists back story. I'm happy that the writers kept to 11 episodes because otherwise it may have dragged out too much: the plots of each episode were brilliant at keeping the story going whilst making them all individually stand out.
In my opinion, the art style

was wonderful, especially of the scenery and backgrounds. I love the delicate structure of each characters image: Lisa looked simplistically beautiful. The best cinematography around for sure!
The soundtrack was my personal favourite part of this anime. Some real mesmeric music was picked out and played on complimentary scenes to enhance the effect. I loved how they entwined the music into the story by using a song as the title of episode 11 and using it as a metaphor.
I think the characters were great as their personalities really developed throughout. It almost felt like you were growing and changing with them as you follow them through all sorts of emotional events and situations.
Overall, I recommend this anime without question. Uncomplicated, but not boring. Beautiful, but simple.
