Although I usually refrain from writing reviews I Just had so many reasons to write a review about this one hour movie that to me is an evergreen masterpiece.
When I first watched this movie I had absolutely no expectations whatsoever! As a Fujoshi I have been disappointed by Yaoi and Shounen Ai ANIMES over and over. The same cliché stories, the unrealistic setting and mostly "romance" that IN REALITY isn't romantic but rather signs of an abusive relationship or plain sexual harassment. Toradora is something you either love or hate. I loved it so i thought well my best friend would love it too so i told him to watch it and he just said that he couldn't watch more than 2 episodes because it was that boring and he dropped it right away, even though i rewatched it 2 or 3 times.
Basically the thing i loved the most was the story and the characters. Its rare to see stories like this. [Spoiler] ****The main characters are at first in love with the best friend of the other and so they help each other out and stuff and ...

This anime is really enjoyable, although not everyone would like it.
Its basically a reverse Harem, although its not really focusing on romantic relationships (thats what i think). The characters are well not really soooo unique but they are totally loveable. The story is kind of not the best thing about this anime, its rather meant for enjoyment , so if you are expecting a tearful story, that will touch your soul, thats not what you will get from this anime. Although the story gets rather interesting if you continue reading the manga( The manga is just much better!!!) One thing i really really loved about this ... |
