I didn't play video games as a kid, so I can't really compare the video games industry from back then to now. I definitely play more video games now than I did when I was younger. As for the film industry, I still watch a lot of recent movies.

i've heard good things about plastic memories and i've been meaning to read/watch my love story but i never got round to it ;; hopefully i can after i finish my assignments !! thank you for your recommendations ! ah, but i'm kinda scared of watching plastic memories now that you've compared it to clannad. i loove clannad, it made me cry so much. i wouldn't say i'm the strongest when it comes to animes like that but sometimes i'm in the mood every now and then to watch something sad and bawl my eyes out (even tho it hurts xp).

i only just realised how little romance animes i've read after looking through my mal and trying to find recommendations for you, especially in the tropes you want. ;; but i had a little look through your ptw and saw that you had his and her circumstances!! although i haven't watched the anime, i have read the manga (as you can see, it's in my favourites since i liked it that much xd). i would recommend it!! i did read some of the reviews for the anime though,, they said the animation quality begins to drop halfway through, which is disappointing. if the anime doesn't do it for you, then i would recommend reading the manga instead!!

sorry i wasn't able to help you much with anime recommendations in the subgenre you wanted ;; i'll definitely work on watching more romance animes !! xp

yes! i really love the romance genre! most of the anime i watch and manga i read is romance!
unless through a recommendation or if it has high ratings, i rarely look at stuff that isn't romance as it doesn't really keep my interest >_<
