Yeeeeah! I was taking a C++ course that dealt with programming and stuff. I found that more interesting then the actual building and materials of a computer lol. I might have to consider programming as my major, or minor if I want to keep going with engineering.

Hahaha I hated Clannad. I only got about 2.5 episodes in and was like *snore!* and turned it off.

Yes, Death Note is most definitely a masterpiece. I'm assuming the live-action followed the story pretty closely. The actor who played "L" was freaking amazing. I loved everything about it. So intense!! It was one of the first animes I watched, even though I didn't watch the actual anime. LoL. And it struck me how powerful a story it was. I remember thinking after the scene where Light arranges the death of his girlfriend and his reaper asks him if he's the devil and I was like, "Holy crap ... if a Fing REAPER asks you if you're the devil cuz you're being so freaking evil ... you know you bad!!" LoL.

I'm a bit OCD so it's very difficult for me to drop a show or book once I've gotten into it. So even if it's a long series, I'll commit to finishing it. Maybe not all in one stretch, mind you, but I will finish it. Speaking of which ... I need to go back to Trinity Blood. Hehe.

Naruto just didn't appeal to me cuz he looked so young but I've watched about 5 episodes, I think, and I'm mostly liking it. We'll see how it fares over the long term.

I see your favorite anime is Death Note? I actually haven't seen that one though I saw the live-action movie and omg it was sooooooo good. I do plan to watch the anime just to be complete and to see any differences and I like the artwork of it. What others do you like?

Lol, computer engineering...OTL
It's decent so far, this is only my second semester at my college, so I'm trying to see how I'll like it. Honestly, I went into this major because I was interested in computers LOL. ;-;

I'm hoping that I can write some anime but I'm not sure how that will go over since it seems all the ones I see are written by Japanese people, or people using Japanese pen names, which I'd do if I did write one, lol. I already have it picked out. Kishi Kenshin. Cool, huh? ;) I've always thought that I'd write a novel cuz that's what writers write right? (Hahaha horrible sentence there.) But my story never really fit well into a novel framework. I think I might have a great story in anime form though. Once I get some drawing classes under my belt, I'll give it a shot. Either way, if writing doesn't pan out then I could do directing or producing or even administrative tasks like licensing or translation.

The program that I'm applying to is actually quite prestigious. It's one of only 10 in the entire country and is partnered with Sony Imageworks and ILM. O.O So that should give me some great street cred as it were.

I can stick with an anime for quite awhile if it's compelling. But I couldn't do like ALL of Bleach in one sitting no matter how much I love it. I tend to do an arc at a time now so that can be anywhere from 2-6 seasons at a time. But yeah, I haven't seen s16 of Bleach and I'm in s6 of Inuyasha. That's another one I watch an arc at a time and then take a break. I'm starting Naruto so I'll probably do the same thing with it.

Yes, I'm glad I decided to watch it! I thought the character design looked familiar to Toradora! so that's mainly why I started to watch Ano Hana when it aired.

Oh my gosh you're a busy man! Triple major! I was originally going to go for a double major and couldn't hack it. I'm impressed! Go you!! I think that's wonderful. Few people get to do exactly what they planned with their degree unless it's a very specialized degree like mine will be. But computer programming is a good paying job and if you like doing it ... it's a good job. Usually fairly steady and usually easy to find work in. If you can avoid tech support, I'd recommend doing so. That sucked so hard. People are so stupid and so rude ... I'm serious, it's got to be one of the worst customer service jobs ever. I did it for twelve years and nearly lost my sanity and absolutely lost all faith in humanity, lol. I lost my job back in 2008 when my contract didn't get renewed so after two years of rejections in the current job market, that's when I decided to go back to college. I tried an Earth Science degree but couldn't hack the math so now I'm applying to get into the College of Fine Arts and pursue an Interdisciplinary Film and Digital Media - Production degree. That's a mouthful. They only let 50 students into the program a year so here's hoping!! *crosses fingers* I want to use it coupled with a Japanese minor to get into the anime production business. Might as well do something I like, eh?

Gah, so many people say that about Bleach. I'm in the minority in that I've liked every arc of Bleach so far (I haven't seen s16 yet), most especially the Arancar arc. I think I'm a little more simple-minded than most and don't expect a lot from my anime so perhaps that's why I still like it so much. To me, Bleach is my "coming home" series. I love going back to it and seeing the familiar faces and personalities. I'm sure (hoping) that Fairy Tail will be the same. I'm rabidly in love with it now and I hope it stays good and runs for a long time. Let me know what you think if you give it a watch.
