This manga is SO adorable! It is a perfect blend of mahou shoujo, isekai, shoujo itself, and Disney! This is the perfect mesh of horror, comedy, and romance. It has gay vampire girls! You will really enjoy this manga if you read GL, horror, or anything about vampires, as said. The main character, Ichika, is really funny. I'm only 2 volumes in, but so far it has been a super cute story: a tale of a girl's first love with a "bloody" twist. The art style is lovely and there are many entertaining characters throughout the story. There is a fun sleepover scene with the friends at one point and it's really sweet. This is a NASTY nasty manga. It is "good" as far as horror goes, with a twisted stockholm syndrome/trauma bonding aspect, though sometimes I think the author indulges too much into basically what could be described as "trauma p*rn". The story is actually not terrible but I think the author should have ended it after the first arc, or at chapter 12. It would have been the perfect poetic justice, though NOT a happy ending (tbh I don't think its possible for any truly happy ending). I'm keeping up with the story still, and ... |
