Anyhow... when you have the time try to watch the two shows I recommended to you. Hopefully you'll enjoy them.

Well then.

Fair enough.

Bakemonogatari uses these seemingly paradoxical cuts and angles in order to keep you interested when there's dialogue. And I'm pretty sure about 50% of the entire show consists solely of the characters talking with each other. Personally speaking, I thought the show has one of the most interesting, witty, and funny dialogue that I've ever seen. I did find the fanservice a bit weird, but I wasn't really paying that much attention to it. Although now that I think about it, if you are bothered by it, it does ruin the experience significantly.

I'm just confused as to why you find the fanservice in that food porn show acceptable, but not the fanservice in Bakemonogatari...

You've listed Mushishi is one of your favourites, so you obviously have good taste in anime. I strongly recommend the following two shows: "Welcome to the NHK" and "The Tatami Galaxy".

Also, it would be nice if you told me why you rated Bakemongatari with the same score as SAO.
Just curious.
Not salty at all.
