I've been a fan of anime since I was a kid, like most people, and generally love to discuss and debate shows with anyone who is willing to give me the time of day. Over the years I've fashioned myself into something of snob, critic, or recommendation guru, always happy to name drop one of my favorite titles over the years. Eventually, the latter of those titles encouraged people to push me toward writing actual reviews that they could sink into. Unfortunately, I tend to be a little long-winded when I get passionate about a show or topic.

While I'm up for most shows and genres, I have to say my favorite animes are emotional dramas (3-gatsu no Lion), slice of life comedies (Nichijou), and simple adventures (Granblue Fantasy). So long as a show puts me in the mood to relax or gives me something to really chew on, I'm pretty much as happy as can be.
