I'm a fan of the Gamera films, so I was excited to dive into Gamera Rebirth. However, I can confidently say that this anime is not just for the die-hard fans; it has a lot to offer to newcomers as well.
One of the standout features is its homage to the Showa Era (1926-1989) of the Gamera Films. The inclusion of classic kaiju from that era, the focus on children, and even introducing an American child character all pay tribute to the nostalgic elements that fans of the original films will surely appreciate.

Have a waifu in the Fate Stay Night series? This is for you! I watched it so I can see Saber being adorable and eating delicious food. What else can you say? Non Non Biyori's setting is always at the rural village that they live in. The movie is a nice break from that and inserts all these characters in a new setting. The pacing and simplicity from the show carries over to the movie. Overall, if you're a big fan of the series, you'll love the movie. There is an OVA from the first season that connects to the movie. This comedy isekai caught me by surprise a bit. I didn't expect too much from what I read but saw the director from Konosuba is attached to this anime so I gave it a shot. It's been funny, cheerful, cute, and a few unexpected elements. The animation quality is great along with cute character designs in the usual fantasy world. The male MC comes off to me as a parody of the same boring male MCs. The female characters have distinct personalities and designs. I'm sure some of them will waifus. I think the direction will simply be a fun show with cute anime girls.
