The synopsis for this anmie made me think I had mistakenly come to the wrong page. The story is nothing like this. It's about a boy who is a part of a school detective club who goes in search of his missing girlfriend and stumbles across the equivalent of an underground gaming community.
A high, tech, merderous, gaming community where people are pitched into some alternate scenarios/ environments.
What I liked about the show was the gaming parts. Interesting. The main character is shown to be intelligent, just very stupid when he comes to to his girlfriend but then again, I think he's still in school. ...

What this show go right:
Art, music and characters. All very edgy and bright and hard to forget.

What went wrong:
The plot got bogged down with gags and character arcs that didn't quiet make sense. Yes, the story telling was going for big reveals later on and building upto it, but when things happened, it just felt like slap stick comedy in the meantime.

And one of the characters is really into commiting suicide and after a while, it just got tiring. It also overshadowed the characters true abilities which was annoying.

Why you should watch this show:
The show picks up in the second season ...

Preliminary (15/20 eps)
I haven't finished this but thought to write from what I have seen so far. Might update when I have finished watching.

Art: I like the art. I haven't watched any Chinese anime before so was greatly pleased by the level of art work. If you are an anime fan, you might have seen better (I have) but overall, trust me, there's worse and this is pretty good.

Music: I like the ending and starting songs, but it might not be for everyone. Just go with it, it's nice.

Plot: I went in with no exceptions; someone mentioned fan service and I thought, oh, boobs, great! ...
