The impossible romance stands as the story in this three parts movie, one that felt like something that shouldn't but ended too early. I found myself staring at the screen, mesmerized by probably one of the best animation arts I've seen, a dramatic yet not stuck-in-place plot and a lot of nuances and emotion. This is what I love in my anime - I want to be awed, I want to be drawn, I want to fall in love with the characters. This movie have it all, and a dash of familiar magic too.

I never go for the full score on something. I'm never satisfied. But this is the first time I saw something that I don't think is flawed. A really beautiful and touching masterpiece, created only in 13 parts, leaving you so hungry for more and yet so fulfilled.
True Tears tells a love story with a sophisticated character build and a delicate approach to emotions.
