Lucky☆Star (Anime) add
The only slice of life anime I would ever actually make time to watch. Yes, it's that good. Revolves around the daily events of four high-school aged girls: the otaku, the moe genius, the tsundere, and her carefree sister. No real plotline on an episode to episode basis, but with characters as colorful as these, hilarious scene to scene progression, and insanely awesome chibi art, who needs plot? Fast-paced and in your face, this is the epitome of entertainment for entertainment's sake, and I mean that in the best way possible.

A light-hearted story of an angel in training, a devil heir to the throne, and his "servants" who don't exactly serve him the best they can. It's comic and cute, and with a minimal amount of innuendo, Disgaea is suitable for most audiences. If you want to pass some time with a fun, enjoyable anime, this is certainly the one to watch.

Elfen Lied (Anime) add
A very good supernatural anime, with lots of action, that can appeal to most anyone of an older audience. Full of dark undertones, the series shows the value of humanity, even though the main focus is on the Diclonius, a species of which the heroine/anti-hero, Lucy, belongs to. With its one leading male character and a fair amount of nudity, hopefully this won't deter any female viewers. It's a great anime with awesome cinematic quality, really entertaining stuff. Definitely worth the watch.

Judas (Manga) add
Brilliant "horror" manga based loosely on Biblical story of the twelve apostles and Judas Iscariot, the traitor. You might not want to read this one if you're a devout Christian. Judas has to collect 666 souls before he can get his body back, which means, he has to use someone else's body for the dirty work. Aimed toward the seinen audience, I enjoyed it immensely, even though I'm a girl. Give it a try first though! You may change your mind.
