I'll warn you in advance that Kimi to Boku. is not a BL story, the boys here are all simply friends. However, I find warm, soft, sweet mood of these two anime quite similar, so if you'd like to watch another cute slice of life piece in high school setting, Kimi to Boku. would be a good choice.

Kimi to Boku focuses on friendship instead of romance, but if you liked the theme of 'what it means to become an adult' being explored in Honey and Clover, you might as well like this title. (Especially s2, but it would be weird to recommend the continuation to the story) Characters in here are seemingly younger though, as they're high school students, so the growing up issues are approached from the younger point of view. Also, the soft touch to graphic style and story, the warm atmosphere as well as many sweet lead characters in Kimi to Boku also resemble H&C.
