Bungaku Shoujo to Shi ni Tagari no Douke is probably one of the best mangas I've read in a very very long time. It touches your heart and it's overall, a wonderful thing to read.
Story- 10
At the age of 14, a boy named Inoue Konoha won an award for writing a best-selling book. He is labeled as a "mysterious bishoujo author" and sick of all the praise, he has a breakdown and vows never to write again. That, is until he starts high school. is forced to join the Literary Club, and write small stories for Touko to eat every day. Everything seems to be going fine until Touko puts up a box claiming the literary club could solve their problems, which is how the emotional tale begins.
Art-10
The visual appeal is stunning. In my opinion, if the visual appeal in a manga is good, it helps bring out the emotions in a story. Kousaka Rito, Takeoka Miho definitley do a great job in the illustration of the light novels.
Characters-10
The art, like I said, is very beautiful. The characters are very easilly likeable, many give off an aura where you want to sympathize with them and tell them that everything will be alright. The characters' backstories help you understand the way they behave much better.
Enjoyment- 10
This is a beautiful story, with beautiful art, and beautiful characters. The story is like nothing else I've read before, and makes it almost impossible to stop reading. Considering the high score I've rated it, I hope that you too will find enjoyment in this stunning series.
