DISCLAIMER: My full thoughts on this anime can be extensively detailed in my review of the first season this will just be a quick run down of how the 2nd season held up in comparison (also I forgot this was 25 not 26 episodes which I wrote in the first review sorry about that but its not a big deal this story was paced well enough with enough 45 min episodes to basically make it 26 episodes). Fate/Zero is one of few anime that I feel pushes the boundaries of anime without feeling like it isn't anime. What I mean by this is that if most of your entertainment comes from anime this will feel very at home to you but if you say watch some other shows that generally have differing structures to most anime this will be a perfect medium. I see this show very often be described as similar to Game of Thrones and while I see where they're coming from with that comparison I prefer to designate this as anime's (more specifically ufotable's) answer to Game ...

This is one of the greatest anime of all time. I know that's kind of bold statement to make but in my opinion it is one of the greats and my personal favorite. The story is great and is paced so well especially in comparison to FMA 03 the original adaption. This anime's greatest strength is its story and characters because its characters are just that characters not cardboard cutout archetypes.
