For those who judge by first impressions,what do you make of a guy battering 2 girls to death and then killing himself by nailing up his own throat?

When i started with Higurashi no naku koro ni i was genuinely hooked.Right from the very first scene it offered everything to be expected from a pshychological mystery,along with a few light hearted touches.The whole aura of suspence holds onto the very last to keep your grey matter on the move.To be true it isn't horror enough to be unwatchable at nights but who cares,as you are being offered a supreme plot with decent ...

Drifting from the usual ever-complicated-deep-as-the-pacific genre that i watch,i found myself glued to a screen for a slice of life owing to 2 reasons.Firstly,the aesthetic value of the art was sufficiently high to get me intrigued;and secondly i thought that the cat in the poster would transform to a cutie,owing to the name of the series.
Now coming to the story(yes,unlike the other slice of lifes it actually has one!),it involves a linear display of events taking place in the 'normal' life of a high school guy living in a facility meant for 'problem children' after a girl(Mashiro) who cannot even change her underclothings herself transfers ...
