I feel like this series has been thrown into google translate three times. It's trying so hard to be #deep that it's a whole lot of nothing.
So slow. So much talking. Characters don't act like real people at all. The majority of this series is extremely low stakes talking back and forth. Every episode drags. I enjoy slice of life. I don't mind a series that is slow and thoughtful. This series wants to be those things but just winds up blathering on about a whole lot of nothing and thinking that's somehow profound.

God, just. This show. I wanted to like it. I was so pumped. I watched Parasyte, Future Diary, ERASED... I saved Psycho-Pass for last with the expectation that it would be the most enjoyable. I was... so wrong. In a few words, wasted potential. The best episode is the first episode. The characters are bland and one-dimensional, the sound direction is questionable at best most the time... the pacing is so bad. It's so fake deep and pretentious. So unnecessarily wordy while saying absolutely nothing. So predictable. So boring. ...

I usually try to avoid commenting on yaoi, smut because of it's quality (by nature), but this manga was absolutely tactless. Because it is pornographic content, some infidelity is fair, and should be expected. But it seems to me that infidelity is the only tool used in the entire plot. I found absolutely no redeeming qualities in the manga whatsoever. If nothing else, it definitely showed homosexuality in an extremely poor light.

Wow. I tried watching this anime, and couldn't finish episode one. The plot horrible. Imagine an 80's porno in slow motion. Beyond that, the art was horrible.
I absolutely do not recommend wasting your time on this. |
