This is more of a rant than a review.
The entirety of Oregairu season 3 physically hurt me, to sum it up here's what's wrong with it: Too dramatic, uses metaphors and symbolism to describe relationships between the characters until the last two episodes, felt tedious to watch, ruined the magic of the first two seasons, and finally, it made me wonder why I waited so long for S3.
Honestly, I always knew in the back of my head that Yukino was going to win but why? There is nothing good about her, oh Yukino likes cats nyan, Yukino wants to become independent from Hachiman nyan,
...
where is her character appeal?
What is the point of making Yui and Iroha seem like they're part of the harem if they have no chance. They are basically are just filler to Hachiman's and Yukino's relationship. In fact the director making Yui have more screen time actually makes it more painful because we already know how it's going to turn out.
After this season I can say that I hate Oregairu.
I hate its characters.
I hate its writers.
I hate everything about season 3 of Oregairu.
This is the buildup I've been waiting for?
Please return years of anticipation back to my soul.
It's good to finally get these feelings out to the world.
