both star annoying bratty characters from boring towns that turn into not-as-annoying-or-bratty characters throughout the course of the series. some other similarities are that both feature alien babes and sentient robots. eureka 7 also has a diverse list of characters that include people of color, children, elderly, different genders, and did i mention aliens?
