Mixed Feelings

The animation was very pretty in this series, and the sound was fair too. what I found really lacking in this series of the .hack is Story content and continuity. I felt that it jumped around and never really cleaned up all the loose threads in the story.

ALso, I found this one had more of a 'cutesy' feel to it. like it was aimed for a younger audience than its predicessors. There was a lot more cheap hunour, and gags than really helped.

So, overall I gave this a fair watch. on its own its weak, however if you ...

This anime is wonderfully produced.

The sound and animation are excellent, and I enjoyed it a lot. Most of the characters have enough depth to them to carry the story.

The story towards the end gets some what sloppy, and that did take away from the over all enjoyment of the series. However, up until the last few episodes I couldn't wait to see what was going to come next.

All in all, an excellent watch. . and A must watch if you play kind of morpg regularly.

I loved this anime.

Story: The storyline is simple, sweet, and straight forward. You can not help getting caught up with it. I do wish they had of carried the story on longer, but the end they chose feels right. The bit in there about the clone I did not really understand its significance; but all and all very enjoyable.

Artwork: I actually really liked the art work for this one. The 'washed' out feel of the backgrounds lend to the slow pace of the story. There is not a lot ...

Well, to start, I binged Watched this one thanks to our friends at funmation. So I have one review for both seasons (plus bonus).

I was both pleased with this one, and also very displeased. I know, I know.. you want me to make sense. Lets get the mechanics out of the way.

Character Development: Not bad.. Most of the main characters (I stress MAIN) are developed well. they have depth. Some of the secondary and lesser characters are paper thin (Ie: the otaku Hime).

Animation: Well done. At least to my preference. Detailed back grounds, ...

I really enjoyed this series. I am also looking forward to the movies when they are done.

I found the storyline for the most part to be very solid, although I feel it could have used another 2 seasons to develop it fully. (The other Seleco are hardly (if at all) seen. ALthough this kept the main story line nice and clean). I also found the concept, and the choice of character types for the other selected to be interesting. Overall I was very pleased.

The artwork and animation did not leave me with anything to be desired. ...
