Freezing is only for 1 season, there is no way they can cover all the materials in the manga (I mean up to where I'm at with the Chinese scanlation...about chapter 55). I am guessing they can at most to go Cassie's fight.

No, you don't need any prior knowledge of Macross although the timeline is connected and there will be some references of names and/or events that took place from before. But those stuff play no part in the actual story in Frontier, so just give it a go! :)

If you like mecha in CG then you'll like Macross Frontier (the CG are very nice, not the crappy ones that you've seen a couple of years ago). There are two major selling points for Macross Frontier.

1. Splendid animation
2. Superb soundtracks

I think you'll like it :)

I haven't watch the last TV episode yet...though my impression of it remain solid (8/10). It'll be much better if there can be some real romance developed in those yet-to-be aired episodes though :)

Noe is the favourite for majority of the viewers, but I never liked her one bit because of her childish behaviour and I feel sorry for Hiromi :)

Hiromi!! Noe is just a immature girl, nothing really likable about her IMO. Hiromi fights for her love even though the guy is a bit wishy-washy.

Heh. Yeah. I've started calling it "League of Legendary Heroes," though, to get rid of the redundancy. It's pretty good so far (on episode 10).
