I'll leave you some recommendations after reading your Angel Beats Review. Feel free to friend me and look into my profile as well!
Since you're new to Anime in general, I recommend you look into the following titles:
Fate/Zero (You've already seen UBW, this is its prequel. The general consensuses is that this is the best Fate/ installment, but it will be slow at first. Also the Dub is fantastic if you're still new to Sub)
Steins;Gate (Personally, my favorite Anime of all time. It will have some Anime stereotypes so keep that in mind, but trust me if you stick with it this will become a masterpiece by episode 12. Also the Dub is my favorite of all time, I heavily recommend you watch it in Dub as well)
JoJo (One of the all-time great Shonens. Watch in Sub, and start in this order season 1, Stardust Crusaders, Stardust Crusaders EGYPT, Diamond Is Unbreakable, Golden Wind/Vento Aureo, Stone Ocean (Anime coming soon), Steel Ball Run (Manga), JoJolion (Manga))
Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica (Watch it, DON'T GOOGLE A THING ABOUT THE SHOW it's supposed to be unexpected)
Keep in mind, Anime as a medium is not something you can just dip your feet into; you have to start with something that will make you understand the genres, as well as the ability to know a bad Anime from a good one. Over time, your tolerance for Anime will increase and you'll begin to appreciate more Anime for veterans (Ex. the Monogatari series; a series I love and most people do, but you just won't like it if you haven't seen your fair share of Anime).

If you're more on the daring side, I recommend you start looking into Anime Visual Novels (VNs for short):
Danganronpa (Honestly this is the easiest one out of any other VN I can tell you to play/watch to enjoy. DON'T EVEN GOOGLE A THING ABOUT THE SERIES DON'T EVEN GO TO GOOGLE IMAGES THE EASIEST FRANCHISE TO RUIN WITH SPOILERS. Keep in mind the order is: Trigger Happy Havoc, Super Danganronpa 2, Ultra Despair Girls, DR3 the Anime (Ask me more about it later), and finally V3)
Ace Attorney (My favorite game series of all time. Similar to Danganronpa, but much longer and much more character driven)
Zero Escape (Relatively short VN about escape rooms and branching story paths. You'd like this and you can start with this one if you like. Order is: 999, VLR, and Zero Time Dilemma (Not that great))
If you have a PS4/PS5, a Pc, etc. you can play these games.
