Honestly, I'm so, so proud of what they did with the second season. I'm a huge, long time fan of Tiger & Bunny and have been since it came out back in the day, and to this day I do still love it and I'm so thankful that it lived up to expectations.
The art is iffy, you can tell the time and budget went into the fight scenes and good costumes, which is honestly fine with me. I always found it to be part of the charm of the anime as it happened quite a bit in the first season too. It made

me laugh, not ruining any part of the anime. And the scenes where the art really is great? It is GREAT.
They brought back the characters full force, and I like the way they focused on the new system in place and showed the dynamics between the characters. All of the heroes were partnered up well and in such an interesting way, and it was really nice to see that a certain someone was kept in the roster after appearing in The Rising movie. Putting him with the buddy they chose is unexpected, and very well done and interesting.
The antagonists were interesting to me too, having a simple/straightforward yet cool and emotional back story that surprisingly makes you sympathize with them a little bit, or at least it did for myself, Kotetsu, and Barnaby. They were interestingly done, funny at times and frustrating at times, and they're very unique.
It was so nice to get to see a new side of Barnaby, too, given all that he's been through and the character development he experienced in the first season. I'm so excited to see what the second half of the season has to offer, as we have some insight on what it will be about.
All in all, I'm so happy with the season I've been waiting over 10 years for, and I highly recommend watching it after seeing the first season, and the movies too if you can although it isn't imperative to the story, but you do get some extra details that carry over to the second season that you'll be able to appreciate more knowing extra back story. Of all the people that I've convinced to watch it, not a single person didn't like it, and that goes for both seasons and is very telling of the quality Tiger & Bunny has.
