The Manga is Great. The Main couple is well-written, and the love story is wonderful. The supporting cast is interesting but does not outshine the main characters. Each Cosplay arc is entertaining and helps the characters develop as they learn about themselves and develop their feelings for each other.
Gojo is an introvert who does not know how to get out of his shell and socialize with others; Marin is an extrovert who pulls Gojo out of his comfort zone with her social butterfly personality and falls in love with Gojo's honest behavior.

Good adaptation but they botched the ending.
The narrative does well in adapting the plot of the novels, but in ch 10 and 12 they introduce a non-canon elements to the story that derail the original premises of the story. This is a world of real people, everyone in this universe has free will and their own ego. That is why Yumiella becoming lv 99 so early one causes a Domino effect that changes the future of the game story.
