I have just finished watching "Log Horizon" and I think it is a fantastic anime.
After I have watched SAO I have stucked for a while searching for other animes that could be good as SAO, but to be honest "Log Horizon" is a way much better.
They are similar in the basic idea of a massive numbers of online player that are stucked inside the game and cannot return to the real world.
The main difference is that in Log Horizon there are no mention to the real world and the players are focused to adapt their lives to the game world until they find away to
