Yeah. Everyone keeps telling that Cleverley is the real thing since the Fergie Fledglings. I have seen him in Wigan and in the last the USA tour. He has good awareness of his surroundings what makes him a player worth looking forward to.
Evans is an exceptionally talented player. He will become a great centre half. we will be crazy to let go off him. remember that smalling and jones are under 21, which makes them not much experienced. but for evans, despite those woeful couple of performances, he came solid in our final few games and was a rock at the heart of the defense. if anything, United has a great future ahead as far as our defense is concerned.
But the midfield general position... still not sure. let's see how Cleverley fares. :)
Like I said, we need someone who can replace Paul Scholes. The only two players come in mind are Luka Modric (Not for sale) and Wesley Sneijder (Chelsea bound?). We could also get Alexis Sanchez as an attacking midfielder but it seems like he will be heading for Barcelona.
Young can play as a striker too, so it is not that bad of a deal. Having Young in the team means we will have Nani, Valencia and Young, all fighting for the winger's spot. Which will improve their overall game. Not to mention it is likely that Park will remain SAF's first pick in big games next season too. Which means those three will be fighting for a solitary spot in one side of the wing.
You are right on spot for the defense. Remember that all four players are under 21 and will have better physical presence in a couple of years time. I like how Jones is aggressive (like Vidic) and Smalling is reserved (like Vidic). The Twins impressed me last season. To be honest, Fabio should become a midfielder, the way he can skip pass opponents is simply amazing.
I am happy with Carrick and Fletch. They are level headed players, not exceptionally flamboyant but their football is straight from the Carrington's routine training. Giggs will be playing his final season I assume. Body betrays you sooner than you actually think.
Oh, Tom Cleverley will be involved with the first team this season. Expect one of the best in the making.
Jones will be an excellent addition. This guy has a bright future ahead.
Young. I don't know much. We have a team capable of winning the premier league and other domestic cups. With the current team, we will be at best finalist in the Champions League. Not more than that. We badly needed someone like Sneijder.
Spot on. Berbatov and Rooney combination works when the opposition is playing for a draw. More like when United play against a weaker side. Against big teams, Hernandez should be the out and out striker with Rooney playing just behind him.
Our best combination is a diamond in the midfield, and center forward and a striker combination.
The best combination against Barcelona or any big team would be
I am just hoping that those 6 players involved against Chelsea (Giggs, Park, Carrick, Valencia, Roo and Chicha) play against Barcelona. United should open the scoring no matter what.
I just hope Sir Alex doesn't start with a solitary striker in Rooney. Hernandez should be able to give a torrid time to both of the center-halves of Barca. Puyol and Pique are not quick and both play with a very high line. Hernandez running onto them will open up spaces for Rooney and Park to test Valdes from outside the d-box or slide the ball at the path of him. Valencia should start not because of his blistering pace and successful crosses, but also because of his recent game-play that shows he can give a very good cover as an additional defender for the fullback, just like Park, Nani fails miserably in the aspect. We need quick players against Barcelona. Which rules out Berbatov too. Between Carrick and Fletcher, the latter is far quicker, but given the fact that Carrick being in top shape and in top form, I think he will be an auto pick bar Fletcher being featured in the coming final couple of fixtures (and the Gary Neville testimonial game) before the Champions League Final.
United finally put their Chelsea hoodoo behind. That was one title display as the bbc commentator said during the game. Chelsea got their stuffing out of their system. Never was I so happy following United for the last 15 years. This is the biggest of them all. the 19th that puts United ahead of the rest of chasing pack. And considering it was never a one man show as every single player turned up for the occasion. :)

Yeah. I know it would be very difficult to win against Barcelona with our way of playing the game. But somehow I do feel United might just nick it this time around. Our starting eleven is doing outstanding in recent weeks and the defeat at the Emirates showed that United is not cut out team to sit back and expect a draw. The May 28th final will go either way in regulation time. There won't be any Extra time or anything. And the first team to score, hopefully United, will go on to lift their fourth European accolade.
I hope you're doing good. The Final will be played in Saturday. So you'll be able to see it :)
I hope you are doing good. United are doing so far so good. Also, guess who might be coming to United next season? [Source: ManUTD.com - A bid of 18 Million pounds]
Yeah. And also, here to toast on a United success. Kanpaii!
Fergie said though there will be no new signings in this month as the transfer window is now open. Also, rumors going on around papers that Qatar Royal Family's private firm will be bidding for a huge 1.5 bn USD for a takeover of United from the Glazers (as a part of Qatar's achievement to win the opportunity to host the WC 2022).
I dunno whether it will be a good or a bad thing, lets just hope the best suits United. ;)

When will your army camp end?
Gary should leave his boots already. Also, Chelsea drew today. Their title hope seems to be fading away pretty fast :D
