minor spoilers ahead:
the "top anime" section hasn't done me wrong before so i came into this with high expectations. this is probably the biggest letdown since my friend recommended devilman crybaby.

this series starts off at a snail's pace and doesn't pick up until about 10 episodes in. it is extremely whack. once it picks up you think its gonna keep it up but you literally watch this dude undo all the changes made in the past and it is so uninteresting. this show is better than melatonin. sometimes funny, but that's about it. last 4 episodes were very good though, i will say.

i gave the first season a 10. they have completely forgotten the appeal of the show. its still good. one punch man still one punches things. rarely. but that was supposed to be the whole idea of the show. somehow it ends up devolving into a normal anime that saitama occasionally shows up for. there are interesting concepts that could have been explored that are somewhat touched on here (such as saitama feeling empty) but for some reason the main show becomes about the hero association.

i am watching one punch man so i can watch one punch man one punch things, man. give ... me more of that. i dont give a shit about these other people getting owned for 4 episodes(!!!!!!!!!!!!) while our hero is chilling in a tournament.
